Wat Benchamabophit is one of the most modern works of Thai religious architecture where the relics of King Rama V are enshrined.

Graceful and tranquil, it is famous for its main chapel built in white Carrara Italian marble to house a replica of Thailand's most beautiful Buddha image, Phra Phutthachinnarat. The courtyard behind the chapel exhibits 53 Buddha images representing famous images and styles from all over Thailand and Asia.
